It is that time of year again! Christmas is upon us! Asides from the festivities and the crowds at the malls and the stores it is a time for giving to friends and family. This year in particular there has been less focus on commercial side of Christmas and more on what is important.

As we said on Thanksgiving, websites, such as VolunteerMatch.org and AllForGood.org are great ways to find volunteer opportunities in your area. Your local communities and non-profit organizations will thank you for it.

Here in Northwest Indiana the chance of a white Christmas has come with a delightful ice storm! So despite the cold temperatures Christmas is still in the hearts of its residents. [Remember our post about winterizing your home?!] - its time to crank up the heating and get all cosy for the day!

With all the months of preparation people are finally getting some time to relax and enjoy the season. They can now spend time with their families and friends and enjoy that Christmas Ham or Turkey!
